Take it from someone who has gone through a lot of trouble in life. God forbids that anyone of you or a family member gets into any form of trouble – an accident, being victimized by criminals, robbed at home, or be hunted by an offended malefactor – you will quickly find out this sad and painful truth, you are on your own!
I am exceptionally fortunate that my plight was widely followed across the nation to draw the very few courageous people to rush to my aid. These good Samaritans are my inspiration in creating Abizo – a Good Samaritan technology.
Inspiration versus Reality
But just like in the parable of the Good Samaritan, we were again whack by the reality that people would rather pass by the other side of the road when confronted with a “victim”. Turning a blind eye and being governed by fear. Fear of the responsibility to help our neighbours.
I know how it feels to be constantly working against the tide of reality. It is tiring and sometimes even frustrating. But we must continue to be inspired to take action despite the rejection and the indifference of many by whatever means we are capable of.
Who is our neighbour?
It was a question answered by Christ thru the parable of the Good Samaritan. A question that is still very much relevant in our lives today.
For Galileo, these are our neighbours…
- The parents of teenage children who are concerned about their whereabouts
- The parents of school children who are worried about their safety
- The parents of working children away from their homes
- The parents of the Dengvaxia victims
- The parents and family of the abused OFWs
Our neighbours inspired us to create Abizo. They inspired; and continuously inspire us; to provide the that freedom from fear, from worry of our loved one’s safety, for our neighbours safety.
We will continue to reach out to our neighbours and give them the peace of mind they deserve.
