Education Assistant Secretary Nepomuceno Malaluan on Wednesday said the Department of Education (DepEd) will monitor the symptoms reported to the Department of Health’s (DOH) Dengvaxia Vaccine Monitoring System (DMVS) app.
Parents, guardians and even teachers of students who had been given the Dengvaxia vaccine may now report the youngsters’ condition through two mobile applications designed to help monitor their symptoms and other health problems.
Inilunsad ng Department of Education (DepEd) at Department of Health (DOH) ang mobile application para ma-monitor ang status ng mga estudyanteng nabakunahan ng Dengvaxia.
Through the help of a mobile app, parents of children vaccinated with Dengvaxia may now easily report if they notice symptoms of illness.
Dengvaxia vaccinees can now be monitored digitally online and in real time by parents and guardians.
Education Undersecretary Alain Pascua says parents can download the Abizo Dengue Vaccine Monitoring System application or the RSVP Kaizala application by end-August to receive alerts from DepEd and DOH, and get information on how to respond to symptoms.
